Owner/Director - Michelle Lawrence

Michelle began her love of pageants at the age of seven when she competed in the Sunburst Beauty Pageant at Centennial Mall in Brampton.  From there she joined a modelling agency where she had the privilege to gain some valuable experience in the film and television industry. When Michelle was 16 years old, she had a dream to compete in the annual Brampton Pageant held at Lester B Pearson Theatre, unfortunately the pageant was discontinued.  In 2003, the pageant was revived, and she finally got her chance to compete and came first runner up!  The following year, determined as ever, she competed again in the annual Brampton pageant and in front of a sold-out crowd she was crowned Miss Brampton Int’l 2005.  During her reign as Miss Brampton Int’l, Michelle made over 200 appearances in the community, volunteering with local charities, speaking at engagements and participating in many beloved annual events.

This amazing experience fired a passion in Michelle which led her to continue the tradition of the Brampton Pageant for many years to come.  In 2009 the titles of Flower City Queen and Princess were born.   A year later those titles blossomed further into Miss, Teen and Little Flower City.  In 2012 the tradition continued with the rebranding of what we know today as the Brampton Flower City Pageant.

Today this single mom of two is still as passionate about the City of Brampton and the Pageant as she was the day she was crowned.  Michelle looks forward to continuing this tradition and empower the men and women in her community to #BecomeTheVoice.
